As a Project Coordinator, Zama brings passion, adaptability, and heart to everything she touches. She’s been part of the Matriarch family for several years now, starting as a booker and runner before growing into her current role – always eager to learn and uplift those around her.
Tell us about your role and journey at Matriarch
Zama’s journey into experiential marketing began with a background in Public Management, but it was the hands-on experience at Matriarch that really shaped her path. She started as a booker and runner, working across different teams and absorbing knowledge from each one. That early exposure gave her a deep appreciation for the many moving parts of every project, and she’s used that insight to become a thoughtful and resourceful Project Coordinator today.
What excites you most about the work you do?
For Zama, no two days—or campaigns—are ever the same, and that’s exactly how she likes it. She thrives in a fast-paced environment where each new brief presents a new challenge and opportunity to grow. She’s especially passionate about helping transform brands and introduce them to consumers in engaging, authentic ways. Being on the frontline of consumer interaction means Zama often gets to see first-hand how people respond, which keeps her inspired and motivated.
Tell us a bit about life outside the office
When she’s not coordinating campaigns, Zama is at the heart of her busy, loving household. She’s a devoted mom to two boys and loves spending time with them whenever she can. A self-proclaimed foodie, Zama finds joy in cooking and experimenting in the kitchen—and she shares her home with two adorable dogs who are always nearby. Whether it’s family time or food adventures, she brings the same care and creativity to her personal life as she does to her work.
